Training Program For RCG Sydney Course
Responsible Gambling Services, or ‘RCG,’ is another term for providing Responsible Gambling Services. We use the term RCG Sydney like most people, including Liquor and Gaming NSW.
This RCG training is necessary for anybody who works in a gaming environment, including:
- Casino workers
- Gaming room attendants
- Security Officers
- Licensees
- Managers
You will be provided with a fun and educational one-day RCG training that will provide you with the information and abilities to acquire an NSW RCG certificate, allowing you to apply for your RCG picture card.=
You will learn about the impacts of gambling on communities, individuals, and families. You will also learn how to establish workplace regulations and how to identify those who have gambling problems.
Assessment
Students will take a short-answer paper-based and a multiple-choice test to check their abilities and knowledge and demonstrate proficiency across the course throughout the day.
Throughout the RCG course, students are given several chances to show their abilities and knowledge via evaluation and role play.
If students fail to complete all assessments successfully, they must rebook the RCG course at the full course price.
Certification
After receiving a competent mark, learners will be emailed a Statement of Attainment for SITHGAM001 Provide Responsible Gambling Services. RCG course certificates are sent to students, but physical copies are available for a charge. An interim/temporary RCG certificate issued by Liquor and Gaming NSW will also be supplied to the student. It will be valid for 90 days and can be used to begin employment.
An RCG competency card must be shown to operate in any licenced establishment after 90 days. When your competency card is about to expire, OLGR will send you an email with instructions on how to take a refresher course.
The interim RCG certificate must be submitted to a recognised Services NSW office to apply for the RCG competency card.
